Your actions will shape everyone’s power and status in the organization. You will have opportunities to cooperate and compete, vote for others or against them, make side deals to trade cards, take risks, and more. In this game, you choose your path to the top!

Promotion! is based on decades of social science research on power, status, leadership, and influence.
Every card is inspired by real-life dynamics in organizations, making the game both thought-provoking and wildly fun.
In the game of Promotion!, your goal is to secure 5 power cards and 5 status cards.
Your actions and others’ influence everyone’s power and status.
There are multiple opportunities to cooperate, compete, communicate, trade cards, and build coalitions.
Other cards influence only others’ power or status.
Some action cards influence only your power or status.
Some action cards influence your own power and status and others’ simultaneously.
Others can ask you for your action cards.
You can also block their actions using your Challenge card.
Some cards require others to vote or use their action cards to determine your power and status.
Finally, some cards involve an element of luck – you will have to roll dice to discover their outcomes.
